Horse Council BC: Update on Fire Assistance

UPDATE FROM HORSE COUNCIL BC, JULY 17 Horse Council BC has developed forms to aid in tracking horses; for housing and hauling. We also are collecting donations and where possible, offering direct financial aid or delivery of hay or supplies. Please pass this information and attached forms along to your relevant contacts and if possible post on your websites. For those able to house or in need of evacuation we asking them to register with BC Equine Livestock Animal Evacuation Group they have an excellent mapping system to collect data.    We are trying to help coordinate the massive logistics involved and offer a stronger networking system.  There are groups doing amazing work that are inundated with the sheer volume of everything  required during the emergency.
